Honestly, this tracks with the Miami leak being about firing a shot across Masai's bow. Portland would prefer to deal with us from an asset standpoint than Miami but are getting sick of Masai's shit. Masai has always been known as difficult to get a deal done with.

I'm down for 45-50 win team with a limited ceiling while we're waiting to strike on a Kawhi/Dame whatever type move and I'm down for shedding the veterans to high skill kids (Pascal and stuff for Scoot + Shaedon type moves) to put a high end young core in place.
