Malone is basically Thibs. If they disliked Thibs, they're going to dislike Malone.

Also, asking him to come in and replicate his success is unfair. You're not going to be able to trade for Jokic.
 
There was an Athletic mock where Ace Bailey fell to #12. I think it was because of his shorter than expected measurements. At 9, he might be a steal.

Good. He's a really fluid, big, big wing from France who plays in the German pro league and has had some flashes of elite including giving Portland all sorts of problems in a pre season game when he was 17. The shot isn't there yet, but his mechanics are strong looking and I've seen too many guys improve their shots significantly post draft to write it off anymore. He profiles as nasty work on the defensive end and a gazelle in transition at worst. If he adds a functioning corner 3 he turns into a pretty huge modern 3&D big wing.

If he slides, it's going to be because teams see him in work outs and are starting to see the red flags up close. That he's smaller than advertised doesn't help his stock though, yeah.
