I would not be shocked by it tbh. The pieces all line up.

So, the current rumour on Lebron, which seems pretty reliable is that he's asked Rich to gather all of the interest from everyone who wants to sign him, have them give Rich their elevator pitches and he'll talk about it with Rich. He seems to be interested in taking a well lower than market deal for the right situation.

Of note here, is that Rich Paul fucking loves Toronto. That's the main reason the AD to Toronto rumours never went away, Rich Paul kept trying to push AD in our direction but the front office was never really down for it. Kind of notably, Rich Paul is also Brandon Ingram's agent and Rich loves how Brandon was treated in Toronto (financially and otherwise).

So yeah, Lebron's agent and best friend would probably try to push Lebron to finish his career in Lebronto if we put forward a compelling case.

I don't know how the money could be made to work, we're kind of cap fucked at the moment, but there's probably options to get it done. I can't see the list of teams he would consider being that large. Knicks, Raps, Heat, Cavs, OKC, Denver, San Antonio, Boston, Warriors
