This is really a horrible look from front to back for the ACSO
- The cop wasn't remotely professional in any sense of the word. You hire police officers at events like this because they're supposed to be security specialists of some level. Part of being a professional at an event like this isn't just being a rage monkey when people have the wrong credentials. It's understanding who the VIP's are and understanding that events like this have certain people who are kind of a big ****ing deal to them. If the cop didn't know who Masai was, that's on him, regardless whether Masai had his credentials or his cock in his hand
- This nonsense over Masai not having the right credentials. Sort of a carry over from my 1st point. He had legitimate event credentials in his hand and he's not a random, he's Masai ****ing Ujiri. Masai doesn't have the right arm band? Oh, no worries Mr Ujiri, this way sir, enjoy your victory congratulations. The thing that undercuts this entire line of excuse from the ACSO is that almost ****ing nobody of any value was wearing an armband during the ceremony. None of the Raptors front office, none of the NBA head office, none of the media. Literally nobody other than true randoms who know someone important enough to get them floor access.
"Internally, they're hyperventilating right now," said Brian Windhorst about the Clippers. "I think Kawhi will give the Knicks a look. I think his decision will be staying with the Raptors, likely on a short deal, a one-plus-one deal. Or look at the LA Clippers where he can invest in going forward."
Moar F5 season
- Pelicans are apparently mulling the idea of sending the 4th to Minnesota for the 11th and Covington
- Celtics are trying to give Aaron Baynes away. Freeing him up will give them 23 million in cap space (total)
- Golden State have picked up the 41st pick in the draft from Atlanta for 1.3 mllion and a 2024 2nd rounder.
- Atlanta is trying really hard to turn their 8th and 10th overall pick into a top 3-4 pick
- Brooklyn is apparently having 2nd thoughts on signing Kyrie now that there is almost 0% chance of KD coming with him
- Speaking of KD, it's not definite that he goes back to GS, apparently max deals will be available from other markets he's interested in regardless.
- Tobias Harris is interested in going to Brooklyn, but seems to prefer going back to Philly.
Invest what? Why would they be a place to invest in other than being in LA.
FWIW, I don’t give any Kawhi “news” any credence.
Anyone making predictions on what he’s going to do is 100% spitballing.
Can a kid from Toronto turn around the New York Knicks?
Can a kid from Toronto turn around the New York Knicks?
When and how?RJ will be a raptor
When and how?
I think nowadays we will see guys want to stay in Toronto. It’s been proven to be a good market
