OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

Agbaji might be something if he can hit that open 3.

But I think Brown is probably shit.

Yeah, I like Agbaji so far. Brown is a guy who needs a defined energy role, but isn't in one right now. Think of a guard version of Rondae Hollis Jefferson that can hit an open 3. That's Brown.

I dunno the other team seems to score a lot when BB is out there.

Maybe Darko sucks.

I'm still not sure. It's been a goofy year, so I'm trying to hold judgement.

This group he has right now 1-8/9 is pretty good though, it shouldn't play like a basement team the rest of the way. We're not going to beat many high powered teams that BBQ can't outplay, but we shouldn't be losing games because Precious and Malachi are giving up 12-0 runs in the first quarter after coming in to a tied game anymore. The bench looks tasty for a change.

Classic Pascal game.

Good box score: 27/9/6 11/22 from the floor. Really nice looking night on paper, but completely invisible in the important parts of the 4th. He had a few buckets early in the 4th to make it 95-94 and after that went 1-6 with a few assists and a rebound the rest of the way. Bricked a few open 3's that would have got the Pacers back into 1-2 possession games a few times.

Glad we're not the ones paying him next year.

Nah, OG at 35-40 isn't as bad as Pascal at 45-50 but it's close. At his absolute best OG is pure terrorism on the defensive end. Switchable, smart, physical, just a beast. But his head goes missing for long stretches, and he's always been a bit injury prone. Kind of the ultimate 3&D role player but he's going to be paid like a perennial all star type player. He's a top 3 wing defender at his best, and as nice as that would be, I'd rather go get just a nicely above average wing defender for the bench who shoots league average or better from the corner 3 for ~15 million and call it a day. Get 85% of the value for 40% of the money. Herb Jones, Dean Wade, De'Anthony Melton, Isaac Okoro, Dort, Grimes, Williams, O'neale.....all sorts of those guys out there. It's nice having the best one of those guys in the league, but I don't think his next contract ages well tbh.
