OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

And today we have Gibbons "hump day" line up.

Davis-LF
Cabrera-DH
Bautista-RF
Encarnacion-1B
DeRosa-2B
Lawrie-3B
Rasmus-CF
Izturis-SS
Blanco-C

I'd love to be in the same room as Gibbons when he makes the line up for the day. I imagine it's something like pin the tail on the donkey.

It's a simple matter of L/R splits.

you guys complainined about this lineup the last time he did it, and they went out and won the game easily.

I'm complaining about how bad this season has been so far. Making fun of his different line up variations is my way of coping. You don't got to make excuses for him.

The whole thing is a mess.

Though, I am not impressed by Gibbons in the least going back to spring training. He seemed asleep, thus team came out flat and totally unprepared. And even with our struggles, there have been certain things pointed out which the coaches could correct. Like how JPA sets up and frames pitches. But nothing is done.

His coaching staff leaves a lot to be desired too.

Anyone see Bautista foul that pitch off his foot/ankle ? I wonder if it was the same ankle he injured earlier in the year.

good thing Price sucks shit too.

that fastball - his bread and butter - is down a few mph this year. not a good sign.

so what did lawrie tweet that is causing all this fluff?

Basically, Lawrie told everyone with a strong opinion on the Jays who has never played pro ball, to "shut your mouth". Which, quite frankly, is not the worst piece of advice I've ever heard.

Lawrie plays baseball like a football player.
