OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

sportsnet one is now on shaw...and free.... i watched bits of last nights game

no comments on drabek?

Drabek looked pretty exciting. I had no idea he had that kind of curveball. That's a big league strikeout pitch for sure.

Rzepczynski with a very solid start.

Jays win 5-3. Wells, Encarnacion, Snider all go deep.

The M's have a horrid offence. If Zep struggled against them it would have been a story. I can't vision Zep as part of the starting 5 next season.

Marcum
Morrow
Cecil
Romero
Drabek
Stewart

Litsch is probably still higher on the depth chart than Zep.

If we could package a trade of somesort it would be nice. However both Litsch and Zep's value is low.

You really don't understand the level of starting pitcher most teams have to use at the back of the rotation, eh?

back of the rotation?

middle of the rotation, too.

litsch might be done because of injuries, or he might have been figured out. but to this point in his career whenever he has been healthy he has been a damn good pitcher.

and rzep has been excellent at every level he has ever played -- including for the jays last year -- until this season. he has had a godawful year, but he deserves a big fat mulligan for this one.
