The thing that also mystifies me about that video…IKF’s immediate reaction.

I can’t figure out what he thinks just happened. He kinda just pops up with swagger and walks off like he was safe and ended it - the baserunning equivalent of a bat flip. Doesn’t even look back, on such a close play that slo mo video replay barely shows. Not to argue, but also not to celebrate. If he heard the call, why did he accept it so easily without even a double-take or an effort to plead his case? Is he just such a loser that he knew himself to be out and wanted to just accept the shame of it and slink off unnoticed by millions? It is such a strange reaction to the most critical play of the year.

Yamamoto deserves the MVP. No argument there. He certainly looked hitable in relief unrested. Fucking Varsho could have hit a fly ball

That they couldn’t execute even one time after the fourth run was so painful. Even Vladdy had a chance to make it 5 with a guy on third and couldn’t get a hit.

i love the bandwagon and am glad that many will stay and don't blame them at all for not following the team for a while but the hot takes this postseason have been a bit tough to swallow.
