Reese McGuire was never good.

And yeah, Valenzuela probably represents an upgrade on a decent chunk of teams as a number 1 C, but that doesn't mean he's really more of a high end backup

I feel like if Vladdy tried not to hit homers, he would've hit more homers than he has so far this season.

How can he have all these swings after half a season and not have accidentally hit a few more?
