I hate to call it quits, but I can’t envision winning anything with Vladdy like this. If we can get new young studs that will help us win in the next year or two, tough to say no, as much as I want to keep Gaus and Springer. But if we’re not getting stud prospects for them, then just keep them.

the new CBA needs to limit contract lengths. None of this 10+ year bullshit. Stuck with a fat lazy 1B for the next 14 years? Brutal. He is the biggest reason our season is where it is. For that money you are the offense.

Sell as much as you can off. Find some long term options if they become available. Retool for next year.

In no world are you getting a stud for Springer, he's a RHH DH with 10/5 rights, but you should get something useful.

Stud is also a relative term, i think th ceiling for Gausman is a fringe top 100 guy, but i'd lean more toward the Kikuchi package, which was good.

We are going to enter the offseason with 2 holes in the roation, 2 holes in the OF, need for 1 RP ( at least) a revamped bench , and depending on what you think of Santander/Gimenez a new DH/SS as well

The FA market is complete shite, were going to need to boost the farm to trade for things.
