I get they want another lefty, but this guy and Little on the team for a playoff chase outlines the orginizational need for an additional LHRP IMOLooks like an extra from Bull Durham.

I more meant going into next season as i assume they still envision Ricky as a SPRicky
Feel like the Jays have barely had any lefties the last several years, maybe decade or more. Here and there like Robbie Ray for a minute, a couple of mandatory arms in the bullpen (only some good like Fluharty). Even when we face opponents, it feels like we rarely go up against LH starters.I get they want another lefty, but this guy and Little on the team for a playoff chase outlines the orginizational need for an additional LHRP IMO
Im not really all that concerned with the rotation, but every pen needs at least 2.Feel like the Jays have barely had any lefties the last several years, maybe decade or more. Have left handed pitchers become rarer recently? Back in the day (80s and 90s), it seemed like every team had 2 or more lefty starters in the rotation. And we had guys like Key, Wells, Cerutti (only remember him because the new call up's name) and more over the years that had years of service time with us.
Excellent post and growth for realRasmussen is possibly the most underrated ace in baseball.
