I’m a little surprised he hasn’t been getting LF reps. We don’t have much 1B/DH/3B flexibility. I suspect he does it in the offseason or is packaged to another team

It’s bittersweet now because I really like Bateman. But sure wish they could’ve traded someone else for him because it would be great to still be getting these kinds of starts every 5 days.

Gaus has been good, awful, than great in his time with the Cubs, and wasnt very good this year for us. He's still bottom 10 in terms of ERA for qualified arms.
I'd like him back, but if Bateman is anything, and it looks like he is,i have no regrets.
