Tankie eedjits fucking knew it too. They were “wilfully ignorant”, a bunch of paid off bad faith douchebags who apologized for war crimes under a knowingly false premise.

If they did believe it, then they were just monumentally stupid.
 
As long as Ukraine kept supplying them drones. The Ukies would definitely start exporting their knowledge and gear to Armenia.

But this is just Putin yammering his typical "Russia stronk" messaging for internal propaganda purposes. Same way he keeps threatening the Baltics. They don't have the operational capability to fight even a limited 2nd war right now. Especially one that requires them invading a mountainous country without a direct land border.

Yep. I wouldn't be surprised if he's decided that his off ramp is:

1) Get a deal with Ukraine that allows him to keep all currently held territory
2) Re position as many military assets as possible in Belarus and on the baltic borders
3) Pivot to 2014-2022 type little green men action against Armenia and try to carve out a new Moldovaesque break away region.

Keep the threat of war with NATO as high as possible while he wrangles his elites back into line and manages the decline of the economy as it transitions away from the war economy currently overloaded and breaking down.

Yeah, I needed to take a quick gander at Armenia's geography (again). Pretty fucked up. In a good way. For Armenian defense.

Fucking nightmare. All of those spots in and around the caucasus are.

The one thing going for them in Ukraine is that it's all flat. Imagine trying to move men and equipment through the mountains where there could only be 1-2 chokepoint passes in a 50-100km area? Even in traditional defensive warfare that was nightmare territory. In the era of drones it's probably as close to impossible as you can get without complete air dominance.

Pretty sweet moment in history for corrupt foreign politicians fleeing justice in their home countries. Used to be they had to hide out in Moscow or one of its satellite states, but now they get the whole of the United States to choose from for hideout spots.

Though I suppose the US is sort of a Russian satellite state at the moment, so that part hasn't changed...
 
It really does underline exactly what this regime in the US really is at it's core. Where ousted authoritarians and their corrupt menagerie flee to when the bill comes due. Hook a few electrodes up to the corpses of the founding fathers for unlimited renewal energy.
