Sounds weird but it you have to lose money, lose it against, your fave. I lost a lot of money tonight against my favourite tennis player of all time.

But let us collectively save the 24 hour news coverage, panels of experts, up to the minute reporting, scare tactics and the like for that 1, not every single case of a of a virus that infects someone, especially in third world countries with questionable standard of hygiene and health care facilities.

Or maybe at least wait for the World health organization to declare it a problem before posting mug shots of the virus on national news?
 
we're all intelligent enough here to keep track of all the news about it and determine exactly how worried we want to be about it.
 
And we all understand the news/ infotainment industry is fear based. Ratings are abysmal when nothing bad is happening because human beings are hardwired to look for threats. Don't worry be happy is not our default setting.

Probably due to the second case being the first persons wife, both of whom having returned from Wuhan, and she has been in self imposed quarantine at home.

That and it seems that the way the virus spreads is through close contact. So the risk to the general population in Canada is in fact, very low.

Thank god for the authorities.
