The stars would have to align with a few upsets for that to happen. Namely someone would need to beat the flyers for us. Habs just can't beat that effing team.

Am I the only one who likes Tanner Glass as a depth forward? Decent size, decent skater, kills penalties, can play a bit of hockey, hits everything that moves, and can fight. That's the type of 4th liner that good teams have.
He was pretty solid during his time as the Canucks. "Fans" tended to get on his case when Vigneault tended to use him for a role that didn't suit him (3rd liner duties because AV had no other alternatives available due to injuries/lack of depth).

I don't think you'll make it, but it's certainly possible. The eastern conference is pretty wide open this year.

Even the cream of the crop (Boston & Pittsburgh) are two very beatable teams in a seven game playoff series.

it's actually what i think.

I'm not expecting the Habs to make the finals... but I think that can beat TBay and if they have to play the Bruins I feel that have a really good shot too. They were 3-1 against them this year and have been able to score on Rask.

I expect them to beat TBay and think they can beat Boston, after that there would be 1 team in the way. So finals makes sense to me as much as anyone else in the East.

FWIW i have Habs vs Flyers ECF
