A Tampa with no Hedmen or Stamkos.

Nope. The winner of that game gets Montreal, and the loser gets the winner of Toronto/Columbus.

I believe that's because the NHL ditched divisional brackets entirely for this playoffs, so the #1 seed in the east (which is now Philly after their win tonight) gets the lowest-ranked team that advanced, which is Montreal at #12.

Tampa meanwhile clinched the #2 seed, so they get the next-lowest seeded team, which will be either Toronto (8) or Columbus (9).
 
Very. I just read that is Tampa.

I guess with the bottom feeder advancing, they get the top seed (Flyers).
 
Hedman and Stamkos are both done for the next series? Should help, if the Leafs can win tomorrow.
 
I've really wanted to see a Toronto/Tampa series for a few years now. A new team that we haven't played in the playoffs before, a good stylistic match for us, and it'd be great hockey to watch from an entertainment standpoint.

And if Stamkos and/or Hedman are out for all or a chunk of the series, that'd be quite the lucky break.

Get it done against Columbus tomorrow boys.

They're reseeding. Montreal is the 8 seed and the winner of TO/CBJ will be 7 seed.
 
You know these kids are on cloud nine after this comeback after years of being doubted

This should be enough motivation to come out and pump whatever goalie they throw at them like they know they can.
 
It all comes down to Anderson and the refs.
Would love to see the lightning and buds square off .....
That would be an amazing series.
