Round 2 | Montréal vs. Boston

Every goalie in the league is vulnerable up high, especially butterfly-style goalies. So for Dougie Hamilton to say "Eureka! I've found Price's weakness!" like its some sort of revelation is laughable. It's like saying water is wet.

But saying that you need to shoot high is one thing. Being able to do it at full speed during a game, under pressure and with guys trying to check you, and still being able to hit the top shelf without Price picking it off with his glove? Not so easy. And last I saw, Dougie Hamilton wasn't exactly a prolific scoring machine so he knows better than most how hard it is to pull off.

I think Dougie is missing the real reason why he scored on Price... because Carey didn't see it. Every goal scored on Price in this series was either a complete screen job or did some sort of deflection or bounce. The Bruins 4th goal on Saturday was the only one that beat him cleanly but yeah Dougie... go ahead and think you have found a weak spot. Bottom line is you and your #1 ranked team in the NHL was 10-minutes away from a doomsday scenario. Why didn't you shoot up top on Carey for the first 50-minutes of the game if you found the weak spot? Dumbass.

Torey Krug beat him cleanly in game one.

"It's the same thing with Claude. He's not happy with all that ‘crap,'" he said. "I thought they got away with a lot of things as far as I'm concerned, but they try and influence referees. That's the way they are. That's not going to change. That's the way they like to do their things. But for us, we're not paying attention to those things. We all know what they're trying to do but it doesn't affect us at all."

Pretty much bang on.

Pretty much bang on.

When people say... "we're not paying attention to those things" ... or... "it doesn't affect us at all"...

It usually does.

It's like Gorges saying abouit the collapse... "We're looking ahead, not backwards".

Gorges probably is but if the Habs get a lead and the Bruins get 1 back I'm pretty sure a few of the Habs will think about the collapse. I know DonKay will.

it is not the impact on the habs i am worried about
it is the impact on the refs that concerns me

Even if the Bruins beat us - big if - I can't see them beating Chicago or L.A. in the finals.

I think Chicago will be the fresher team, so they'll beat LA.....

Kings lost 2 of their regular dmen to injuries, that might not be important against Ducks, but it'll be against Hawks

My goodness Bruins fans are such arrogant pieces of shit. We really need to take them out.
