Round 2 | Montréal vs. Boston

I like how your post does nothing to contradict my argument....

You get outshot, you allow 5 goals in a playoff game, you got outplayed

Right ?

bruins have been kept to the outside for the most part

out played 5 on 5 sure
out played on special teams and goaltenidng no

balances out to a 2-1 habs lead

I love Emelin's style, such a perfect #Habs player. Tough but won't fight or play dirty. That's how the league should be. No more fighting.

He, PK and Weaver were towers of strength yesterday. Gorges wasn't bad either. I think Emelin's starting to get in their heads.

That crowd last night was really loud. I am sure some there are deaf. I was flipping radio stations in the car and a local one had the TSN690 broadcast on. Damn it was loud out here in Vancouver.

Even the french feed on Sirius had Martin having to yell the crowd was so loud.

It is intimidating to say the least.

Nice to see 75% of the crowd in fan gear too. Gone are the wear a suit or dress to the game days.

The Raptors game 7 they gave out the coloured shirts to each fan to coordinate colours. I was very impressed that it looked like almost everyone was in red for the Habs game, without a giveaway for it. Good passion.

Peter Chiarelli sur Patrice Bergeron:"il joue son meilleur hockey et sa progression n'est pas terminée. Il peut marquer 35 buts en 1 saison"

Peter Chiarelli on Patrice Bergeron:"its the best I've seen him play. His progression won't stop. I see him getting 35 goals per season."

I agree but very interesting isn't it that you credited 4 Habs D-men and Markov wasn't one of them. He is not playing badly on defense but offensively he is AWOL. I also get a big feeling when I see his tired face on the bench after a shift that he realizes this is a young man's game now and only his intelligence and skill will keep him remaining somewhat effective.

Murray played well also. MT pushing the right buttons.

The Lidstrom-effect will hit the Bruins....Once Chara retires, it'll be easier gaining possession and setting up in their zone.

But most of their top players are still in their 20's.....so they still have lots of good years ahead.

Boston's reign as a top team will start to fall as Chara and Bergeron age. They have some good young players coming up but no one can replace Chara in particular.

I wonder if they acquire Myers from Buffalo and try to rinse and repeat.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bruins pull some kind of deal for a guy like Shea Weber. They have young players to trade...Nashville would listen...

With Laviolette there now, no way the Preds deal Weber IMO, my hunch is they'll go on a shopping spree this summer trying to buy offense, to support Laviolette's wide open offensive system.

14-years at 8 mil per year.....I dunno....if Bruins offered Hamilton and a top 6 young forward, i'm sure Preds jump all over it....
