That’s been my experience too. I’ve never had a problem watching any live sports on any of my devices.

Like I said, personally I’ve never had those issues with peacock. It’s probably one of the best apps I’ve used. But when I’ve had trouble with other apps doing what your are experiencing I delete the entire app completely…and reinstall it. Sometimes the cache has corrupted data that causes those issues and deleting it will clear the cache and corrupted files. Its worth a try it’s simple and only takes a minute or two. Good luck

My download speed is 300 mpbs ping 5 ms.
Any suggestions? It almost like watching dial up with this app on my Live TV.

I was using Starlink and never had a problem streaming with most things. This is fiber so you would think it is better. It is new to my road over here in hillbilly country. Maybe it's like since the beginning when they put poles in the ground some of the network routes are crowded on them. This country is starting to look third world with all the lines running overhead.

Same … and same. I’ve found Peacock to be one of the more stable entertainment platforms and use it frequently to view live sports as well as the odd show or movie. I only really only have it for Premiere League soccer, but in general I’ve enjoyed it. Fanduel on the other hand (and it’s predecessor Ballys) is vile. Glitchy, hard to operate, prone to needing a re-boot during prolonged operation, plagued by audio issues … just a mess. Maybe the single worst app I have frequently used.

As for streaming apps in general, there’s a pretty wide disparity in performance across the board. Some are nearly flawless (YouTube TV, HBO Max and Netflix), some work well but are annoying to navigate (YouTube, BritBox, DirecTV Stream), and some just suck … but one thing is constant. The better and more stable your broadband connection, the better your experience. Oh, and your hardware needs to be set up correctly. Even then, there are always opportunities for glitching because IT is a wild and mysterious thing. And even some fibre-based ISPs play games with packet sizes and choking signal. So tests might show 300+ mpbs, but you can still have issues with streaming.

Given the Braves’ actual market footprint, I wonder if BravesVision can eventually provide a framework for other Southeastern teams and host their regional broadcasts. That’s basically what Fox SportsSouth was back in the day and it at least broke even.

They may eventually add the hawks and the mls franchise but I doubt they go into Florida and SC. But you never know. They have the media infrastructure and are owned by giant Liberty Media. So who knows

The Rays and Marlins were impacted by FanDuel and moved their broadcasts to MLB Media. The Panthers and Lightning are broadcast by Scripps Media stations and weren’t impacted.
 
Yeah, I’m just thinking that 90% of the current relationships are temporary and that in the future we may see some teams cobble together regional networks of their own.

Never had a glitch with anything other Apps except Fanduel which sucks sometimes too. The good news is I got in at the beginning of the game and got to see it live! I started to go back ten seconds re rewatch something and it immediately started to glitch and stall. After once or twice of that I went live and only looked at the controls which didn't look like they worked anyway.

Edit: I rebooted the Live TV before starting the Peacock crappy App
 
That Fanduel (Re-Air) was the worst! What's really sucked was the time spent figuring out what happened! Worse then any true fan should endure. I have not looked at the replay yet but totally missed several stretches of the game including no clue of the 2 Detroits goals.

Something else to add to Tulsky’s plate…finding a TV outlet. Unlike MLB and NBA, which will centralize local rights to sell to a streaming service, the NHL has no plans to do so, leaving it up to the teams

But as it stands, the NHL is planning to allow its teams to decide for themselves what is best for their own local rights situations. Appearing on a recent episode of The Varsity podcast with Puck’s John Ourand, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman suggested that the league won’t centralize its local broadcast rights a la MLB or the NBA, but that the league would be available to support production and distribution of those games if necessary.

I feel like that’s more Brian Fork’s job … ie, hiring somebody who knows what they're doing to get a streaming/broadcast/TV solution.
