IceCaps play Utica today , so this game is definitely a must win.

Terry and Redmond two example of AHL career players, too good for AHL and not good enough for the big league.

IceCaps win 1-0 against Utica . Three points in the clear for the last playoff spot. Lindgren 25 saves for the shutout. Didier had the only goal.

Ice caps lead toronto 4-1 late in the third. A win puts them in the playoffs.

Syracuse leads utica 3-1 in the second. An ice caps loss and utica loss still puts the ice caps in the playoffs, but thats not what is looking like the story here. A syracuse win and marlies loss means syracuse wins the division and faces the caps first round.

IceCaps split the weekend series between the Marlies 3-5 and 4-1. They will face Syracuse in the playoffs. Hudon and Terry lead the way with 3 points each over the weekend.

Hudon better be given a legit shot next year. They'll need to protect him too because I bet that's who McPhee takes. With Gallant as his coach you can be sure he'll be asking him about Habs prospects.

He needs to be given a shot and your right if we don't, Gallant will certainly let him loose.

Las Vegas will likely have the choice of Plekanec, Beaulieu, Emelin or Hudon, I'm not convinced they would grab Hudon.

If it was me. I'd take Hudon. Going to be just as good or better D available than our guys. And pleks is well pleks.

There is going to be better players available than Hudon as well. If they truly feel that Hudon is going to be a player, then it would make sense for them to take him. If not I would just take the player with the best trade value. I personally think it's still too much an unknown whether Hudon can establish himself at the NHL level or not.

Pleks will get you more than Hudon in a trade deadline trade..

If Vegas eats half his salary, his trade value as a rental will be similar to Hanzal. Especially if Vegas plays him first line minutes, great zone starts, and PP. Pump his tires a bit.
