If you’re the fired QA lead, this is where you let them know you’d be happy to help…after they’ve signed your consulting contract that’ll pay you the equivalent of a year or two of your former annual salary just for this one project.

LOL at replacing someone with a defective robot, then expecting them to help clean up the robot’s mess for free afterwards.

Its reddit...so grain of salt, but r/antiwork has these stories pretty regularly. Person gets let go, systems they ran that their bosses didn't understand break, bosses try calling that person and get them to fix for free.

So, I don't know how serious you all take your data privacy, but if you're not running at minimum a Firefox build with the Ublock Origins plugin, now would be a good time to start. If you're on Chrome, (or lol, Edge) get off of it. Hardened Firefox + Ublock is better, but just a bog ass standard firefox build with a few of the privacy boxes checked and ublock is the low effort supreme setup for data protection and ad blocking.

If you're running that setup, it doesn't matter if you've opted in our out to any specific data trackers. They simply can't track your browsing information (for the most part) unless it's something specific that you've logged into one of their services to access.
