I'm the one not looking at patient who was being loaded into the helicopter. I should have realized there was a photographer around when all the fire guys all of a sudden volunteered to do some lifting.

Without getting into too much detail, they weren't truly needed, however it wasn't an inappropriate use of them. It was a very serious car accident.
