yeah i'm pretty high on Reid and Carels as far as the draft goes, but it will take a couple of years till we have any idea how good they can be, Knies is already a stud and we're trying to win. I understand the temptation here, but it's a no-go for me.I think everyone's heart is in the right place on this debate <3333. Some here may be overrating Reid and Carels and feel over confident that they'll be #1d. When in reality it's probably just a small probability. Neither of them have can't -miss #1d profiles. The better question would be you'd still do the trade if you're ok with the more likely outcome of the d being a #2/3/4 in 4-5 years. The timeline aspect makes that one iffy for me.
But if we knew for sure that they'd be an elite #1 then yeah I think we'd all be on board! (Other than lof)
