Don't have a ton of issue with Joshua at $3.25tbh. He was a solid 3rd line caliber winger this year. And gives us something different on the wing than we have elsewhere.

Might be the most egregious use of the term amazing
Agree. He’s a shitty 4th line plug making 3.25 million. We should be getting similar impact for the minimum. Why aren’t we giving some of the Marlies guys an opportunity on that bottom line? it’s very likely one of them could’ve come up for cheap and delivered good results. Why are we the team spending 3.25 + a draft pick on a plug?

Fuck that. Rid this team of anything Treliving touched.

I think Joshua deserves another look with a new coach/system. That’s one of the fucked up hallmarks of the Tre era — it was death by a thousand cuts smaller moves (4th rounder for a terrible contract, zero retention) combined with franchise altering fuckups and fleecings. Thank god Pelley (?) had the sense to jettison him and I would really love to know the series of events between the Olympics and his firing. Can you imagine that fucktard in charge of a full rebuild? We're talking a lost decade potentially if that comes to pass.

The subtraction of Jarncock and Domi will provide a boost to the bottom 6 if Chayka can cook with some moves. It could be a very interesting couple of months coming up if he’s as active as we all expect. And until he makes a bad move, that feeling of pending disaster is way less than with Tre.
