I’d be selling off a bunch of the team before I start trading picks. Build up some draft capital, spend some money in FA. See where we’re at.

I’d move everyone from the defense. I think we end up keeping Rielly and OEL. We’re probably stuck with Tanevs corpse.
 
Maybe a real nerd will actually move Willy to C.

They have to be creative and find as many good players as they can through the draft, feee agency, Europe, trades.. Especially on D. They’ve spend the last 5 years collecting worse and worse players.

Which is why they needed a nerd and a spreadsheet.

Agree. Him being hated by the media is a positive in my eyes.

It kills me that Simmons broke the news though. Disgusting. Hopefully that’s the last thing he gets first dibs on. Hopefully he found out Chayka got the job, Chayka gave him the finger and that’s the end of his scoops.

There's some old school guys in the org that probably hate the idea of answering to Chayka (after they so recently got rid of Dubas) and the Treliving hires who are probably leaky fucks in their old bosses image as well.

The steps for success are clear. Clean house. Get rid of almost everyone in management. Get rid of every Treliving acquisition. Fire the coach.

That doesn’t seem too hard.
