I admit that I like the idea of Cam Henderson. His stats are horrifying but he has a lovely package and can carve out a nice career as a second or third pair dude potentially.

who knows if he ever reaches it but for me his upside is definitely in the McCabe/Tanev stratosphere, not just a 3rd pair guy.

This isn't like when we drafted Parakeet Shitt, who couldn't skate - Danford has legit top-end mobility imo.

Not a single guy asked about the "pressure of playing in Toronto" has even thrown Mitch's take a life preserver this off season. No one has mentioned him or even thrown any real stealth shade, but the message has been pretty clear from all of them that it's not nearly as bad as it's made out to be, it's awesome to play in a place that cares and makes you a celebrity, etc, etc.

If Mitch's experience here was bad, it's because he made it bad, not because the market made it bad. The fanbase was dying to love him and make him a legend.
