- OEL-Danford might be a real thing (and yes I might have to start calling him by his actual name)

- Domi with Matthews, so not just handing it to Maccelli, as we expected

- Robertson with Tavares, and Krok in Willy's place who seems to not be skating today

- I think Roy has a bit of an owie, so there's a chance today's lines might mean we get a look at a Robertson-Tavares-Nylander and McMann-Roy-Maccelli setup at some point. And tbh I didn't see much from Joshua in game to suggest he needs to be on the 3rd line. I also think Roy has enough offensive juice to not be stuck on a shutdown line, especially since Laughton is there on the 4th line already.

Would be pretty cool if we ended up with something like....


Knies --- Matthews --- Maccelli
Robertson --- Tavares --- Nylander
McMann --- Roy --- Domi
Joshua --- Laughton --- Cowan

Kampf on this team would not be cool. You forgot Laughton, who for sure would occupy that spot over him anyway.

Lorentz is also criminally treated as an afterthought. He's a very good fourth liner and I want him in the lineup every day.

Leafs have too many players. Krok and Kampf obviously, and I think Domi is worth making available for a trade, they obviously don't love Robertson, and then on D they suddenly might have Danford in, making Benoit or Thrun potentially expendable. There's a lot of NHL extras in that group. Package three of them in a deal, get a better player.

(seriously though nice speed from McMann and Laughton for the 2 on 1 and then pretty much a breakaway.)

his career numbers should be a nice boost over our usual sadsack 4th line production we always saddle ourselves with (kampf).

really sucks that he was so useless after the trade.
 
ok i'm seeing more of what joshua can do. terrible skater but good body positioning + vision.
