Yeah, I'm good with keeping Mo. I'm good with moving him for good value too because of his defensive limitations, but only if we've injected the blueline with a shit ton of puck moving skill and his skill set becomes a bit redundant for the cap outlay. The most important thing is if we can move the puck from the backend. If we have the personnel to do that, then min/max the shit out of cap spend and roster composition. Until then, just focus on improving the thing we need the most.
 
Totally random thoughts here but... it still amazes me that when Tre was brought in he was touted as "being in on every deal" with his finger always on the pulse. Even up to last deadline "he's working the phones and he's in on everything". Then it leaks later that teams are fucking annoyed of him because he'll never commit to a deal, which explains the long stretches of him doing absolutely nothing when this team needed something (anything). And then when he finally makes a move he gets bent the fuck over.

Just incredibly incompetent management. I don't blame AM for being cagey about the future. So much hinges on these upcoming hires.

Dreger reiterated that he's not sure how Gillis is seen as the favorite. Says he's "definitely a media favorite." All while Odog was raging that he's even being considered.

I guess this is why he's so passive aggressive about his candidacy. Hard to know what to take from that segment from dregs..he's clearly bitter about gillis and has implied that he thinks gillis' camp could be leaking his name to the media. But he also didn't rule it out.
 
Dreger crashing out over Gillis being a media favorite is fucking rich, like he didn't try to manifest a Marner offer sheet years ago and was a mouthpiece for Paul and his agent. Go fuck yourself. He's such an unlikable dweeb, even if he's right in this case. NOW it's a problem, likely because he's shut out of Gillis information because of their past.

Yeah they spoke to guys who weren't employed by other organizations before he was fired. They spoke to Chayka too.

Found the clip where he calls him the media favorite. And yesterday or the day before he hinted that the Gillis camp is leaking shit to the media, sorta does it here too in a bitter sarcastic way. But ya he doesn't rule him out.

50% of the media said no chance it happens this week. 50% said it likely will happen this week. In fairness to elliotte, he's been one of the few who hasn't said much about this because he doesn't know. The others are just guessing or divulging every bit of shitty information they get.

The other thing as well, is that the guy who just got shit canned was clearly feeding them information as well. These guys all knew what Treliving was up to before he got here, and while he was here. If Gillis closes that fountain of information, good, fuck the whole lot of them. Cunts.
