The Ugly - Game #11 - Montreal @ Columbus

I really think lehkonen has been useless.

A shame, I thought he was a a top 6 player, but at this point I would rather see carr or maccarron. Maybe even Hudon.

Also, Shaw is coming really close to being a huge waste of 4 million dollars in cap space.
 
Never thought I would say this, but maybe Tortorella was on to something regarding Max...
 
Reminds me of a couple of non efforts we put in out in Vancouver. We were due to lose and I figured this would be the game but not that way. I remember 9-0 to Detroit once i 1994 and giving up 10 and 11 to Boston and Hartford way back but no double figures for a long time.

Historical loss.

There was also Price's first match in Vancouver....they lost 6-0 I believe
 
MT saying that he saw this coming and not making any adjustments to stop it is the ultimate indictment on his ability to coach.

True story: today is Therrien's birthday. I wonder if the players had to sign one those dumb cards and present it to him after the game #awkward

I think it is too early to rate any of the newer players, including Weber and Radulov who could fall down the ladder from their perch right now. I would give it at least 20-games.

However the problems with DD and Plekanec have been known for awhile. It's not just their own production but the fact that it is becoming impossible to find players who can play with them. Add the fact that Chucky has struggled at center and down the middle we suck donkey balls.

I wish Molson could leverage Tavares away from the mess in NY. There has been some talk he is not happy there and will not re-sign in a couple of years if things, like a new hockey rink, don't improve. Isn't Max from NY? A combination of him, Pleks, Emelin, Beaulieu, picks and/or even Chucky but for the love of god our our franchise deserves someone like JT. Molson can even let the Islanders play at the Bell Center while they figure out a new arena.

I don't. The Foxhole duo chased away one potential captain guy and picked another. They will likely die with him in their tight hole.

I think DD, Pleks and even Chucky would go before Max is thought about.
