Re: Habs and Eastern conference.
I think you guys are pretty accurate with your analysis. I disagree with "Vanek's been so good that he makes Desharnais look good." In case you haven't noticed... DD has 48 points in his last 54 games. Of course his horrible start can't be ignored... but he's been a damn good player for well over half the season. He lood to be at least a 60+ point type player. By no means is he a star, but he's a good player in his own right. That said, playing with a couple big wingers who can bury the puck like Vanek and Pacioretty is a dream situation for him.
I don't know if I agree that the East is the Bruins miles ahead of everyone, then the rest. The Penguins have been ravages by injuries more than any team I can recall in recent years. It looks like Malkin and Martin will be back before the playoffs start so I'd say the Bruins and Pens are a step above... but neither scare me too much. Especially the Bruins to be honest. Historically we have played them incredibly well. Obviously the Pens biggest question mark as always will be in goal. MAF can either be total shit or really good, you just never know with him.
Re: Too Much Starch(Podcast) Episode 11 Q&A edition
Bruins do not want to play us. They will and should still be favoured but I cant see anybody other than the habs stopping the Bruins from coming out of the east.

Have the first few games shifted your opinion of this jays team at all? If you could change one thing in the skydome other than actual jays players what would it be(ie food, beer, general game day operations etc)
