OT: CFL Thread

We'll see if the CFL ratings are as high with now the NFL games are on, plus the NHL games... they will go down pretty quickly outside Saskatchewan.

Its obvious the CFL is high in the summer since there is nothing interresting at TV at this time of the year...

The CFL is pretty aware of that, hence why we have CFL on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They know only the few die hard fans and local markets will choose CFL over NFL on Sunday afternoon.

And the NHL may only hurt the evening games, especially anything taking place on Saturday night.

All in all I don't think the impact will be as bad as you think.

You act like that is a bad thing.
That is what the XFL should have done.... promote it as something to do when the NFL isnt on...not try to promote it as better than the NFL.

As for the CFL I see hockey having a much greater impact on the ratings than the NFL.

He Hate Me agrees.

Man.

Als win 44-41 against the Winterpeg BlueBombers.

That game was more exciting than any NFL game I've watched since the season started.

Btw, what a pass by Calvillo to Bratton on 3rd & 5 to win the game.

ya, NFL ratings aren't that high in Canada.

Hockey will hurt the CFL a little, but even then, I can still see interest remaining pretty high. It is the second most popular sport/league in Canada after all.

for those who missed it.

There's the easy way, there's the hard way and then there's the Roughrider way. Why do they have to make things so difficult on themselves.

Props to Lulay for pulling multiple rabbits out of the hat late in the fourth.
