Also Murray's four games vs Boston..... 0pts, -3,
His relative corsi in last year's playoffs.... -17.5, 2nd worst defenceman on the team, and the only guy worse than him played 1/2 as many playoff games.
Penalties taken per 60.... 2nd worst on the Pens behind only Matt Cooke. So not only was he no improvement to their PK, he actually caused more 4 on 5 situations than any other defenceman.
On the Habs, this year.... Only player with a worse relative corsi (regulars, ie not less than 5 games), Ryan White and George Parros,.... this is despite having the best offensive zone start percentage of any defenceman (not including callups).
When you include quality of competition (very low for Murray) its even worse.
The guy is a ****ing disaster, and has been a disaster since 2011. Before that he wasn't so bad.[/QUOTE]
You are counting on Murray to get points? Or using that to judge him as a player?
I miss his Frankenstein-like play, it is entertainment industry after all and he is entertaining (both good and not so much). If he were to draw back in vs Bruins, I would be pleased, but highly doubt he will. He is only one who can move/flatten Chara/Lucic in front of net and seems to get Chara off his game, which may be important.
Advanced stat guys have been touting how bad Habs are and how dumb coaches have been all frickin year and now will be one of 8 remaining.
