Round 2 | Montréal vs. Boston

DenisCoderre
Je viens de parle avec le maire de Boston @marty_walsh Pari accepté!

Pari: Perdant visite vainqueur, porte son chandail et drapeau du gagnant flottera pendant une semaine à hôtel de ville du perdant

Don't worry about the pot holes (or the craters), they'll fix themselves when enough cars pile up.

I'll tell you how to beat the Bruins. Key on their young D. Bartkowski and Miller are prone to mistakes as was evident last night. Start hammering their young D with Moen, Prust and maybe even insert White. You'll get positive results. They can be beat.

That's what I've been saying as well. The Bruins are vulnerable in their own zone, their defensemen are not that good and can be pressured into making mistakes. The key to this series is to being able to spend more time in their zone.

according to ESPN's stat dept.

Canadiens are 15th team in NHL history to win multi-OT series opener on the road. Twelve of the previous 14 teams to do so won the series

The Canadiens are currently -105 to win the series

I still say Bruins in 5

We get hammered tomorrow and everyone will jump off the wagon, and the sky will be falling.

Boston is the better team yes, most points in the league this season, cup finalists last year, cup winners three years ago.

Bruins were overwhelming the Habs last night, it's amazing that Mtl won the game... however, was that the real Habs? 9 days without playing, Vanek laboring for whatever reason, plus MT has got to find a way to get Bournival in this series, they need his speed and tenacity along the boards.

I'll be surprised if the Habs don't come out with a much better effort tomorrow, they likely will cut down on the turnovers.

Howver, I still think Boston wins tomorrow, but not in convincing fashion... Montreal will come home with a least a split, then they must win all the home games to have a chance in this series.

Boston will not be intimidated by a Bell Centre playoff crowd. There will be lots of pressure on the Habs if they lose on Saturday and the Bruins will seize on that. If the Habs somehow beat the Bruins 15 hours from now then I say the series is 50/50 coming back to Montreal even though the Habs would be up 2-0 in games.

Habs will be better game 2, shook off lots of rust and won in the process. You gotta like that. Pressure is on the Bruins and look out if the Habs score 1st tomorrow.

Olbermann nails Bruins fan AND the Bruins themselves. The fans earned the "Worst Persons in the Sports World" on his ESPN show tonight for the racist comments made about Subban, but Olbermann went a step further and called out the Bruins organization. He dismissed Cam Neely's statement about how these people don't represent the team and said that racist backlashes against black players have now happened twice in the past three post-seasons (Ward and Subban) and that, at some point, they as an organization need to do something more than utter platitudes about how we all need to get along.

Hamilton is pretty young too...

They have to come up with a much better effort tomorrow and prove that they can hold their own against the Bruins because Price is the ONLY reason they won. If they can't do that, even if they do somehow win tomorrow I will be very worried...
