2019 NHL Entry Draft

That’s what your “source” is telling you?

The several mock drafts I have read have pretty much been consistently naming these four names.

You wanna call it a source call it a source.

In the end, who the hell knows what will happen

Why would the Habs take Seider with York on the board? I don't understand that part of his mock.

They say his upside is tremendous, we talk about trying to hit that homerun with mid first round picks this kid may have that potential.

Already has NHL size, has an above average hockey sense, skates well and battles hard.

Already playing against men in the DSL so may be NHL ready in a couple of years.

Has that wing span you like in a defender

Yeah but what would the sweetener be to move up 7 spots? I think expensive.

Even if pulled off, who do you take then? Broberg?

At 8 you have a shot at a stud

Cozens , Boldy , Zegrus , Caufield , Krebs ....... one will be there

Broberg might be there at 15 , don't think he goes top 10

Please make it happen Nero , we need one more hell of a draft for an A level kid

Edmonton can get their D with our pick

Everything I read on Broberg says he skates like the wind for a big guy and has an excellent outlet pass and above average shot. Throw in that he’s a LD and I just don’t see how he doesn’t go top 10.

I've seen some mock drafts with Seider as high as #6

There's huge potential in him apparently and what might be making him drop according to some reports is the fact he's been developed in Germany as opposed to the other traditional Euro countries.

Had he been a Swede or Finn there may not be as many question marks and he would be a sure top ten maybe even higher.

D in his own zone and overall IQ and offensive upside are in question

I would take any of the above over him

Not sure what we have to add to move up but it would be awesome

They need bodies on the cheap unless we pick up salary . I would take on Sekera to help their cap in some package for 8 .

One more A level kid with Suzuki , RP , and Romanov would be fantastic

We can make it happen , do they covet Primeau ?

The nock on him is that despite a big grame (6,2") he shy away from contact and physical game. Wasily intimidated when challenged physically.

I heard his offensive instincts are not as sharp as some of the other dmen up there.

Once you get past the top 8 or 9 all have flaws to their game and need time to refine their game

There are no guarantees in any draft but moving up to 8 we will get a hell of a prospect with fewer concerns

This is a draft where many of those USA kids are ready to step in and contribute and have fewer issues .

A clear notch drop off past 8 or 9

Again, at what cost? It won’t be Hudon they want and simply throwing in a second won’t get it done.

Broberg will get overdrafted because of his size, skating & puck moving abilities. Don't let that fool you. I don't know if I'd be more disappointed if we took him or Lavoie. Neither one of them do it for me at all.

Sounds like our old friend Kopitar
