But then again, it's a perfect landing spot for him. He'll develop very well there.

That's the 11th player taken from the USNDP this year. Absolutely amazing.

I completely understand why he dropped. His skating isn't very good.

If he can make his skating into just decent, I think he can make it in the NHL and if it becomes good to above average, watch out.

Phillips a local guy from down here in Cole Harbour area, playing in the USHL. Another guy I wouldn't have minded. Small. Detroit always seems to draft guys I wouldn't mind.
