I mean, that's just basic probability application. Straight out of Stats 101. If a significant enough chunk of the population is getting an effective vaccine against a virulent enough disease or illness and you choose to not get that vaccine ... welcome to increasing your odds of getting that disease/illness by an insane amount. People talk about Darwin tests, and this vaccine might be the biggest single natural selection event of my lifetime. And I'm old.

if you look into it , some anti vax people are highly educated. MS, PhD level people. It's just nuts.
Meh. Smart people can talk themselves into believing and doing dumb things as easily as anybody else. Happens all the time.

Dunning–Kruger effect is also in play with otherwise smart people who assume their smarts translates equivalently to all problem domains. It's a lack of wisdom, not smarts.

Ohio St Michigan game canceled . OSU ends up only playing 5 games. Only played 1 good team, Indiana
I think the Big 10 is going to have to get them a game or else they won't be eligible for their Championship game ... which would effectively knock them out of the National Championship picture .... which they don't actually belong in because (as mentioned) they haven't played anybody. This is year is ... fun.

Every other B10 team is playing this weekend. they could find a non B10 team but probably not at this late date. I bet they go ahead and add a loophole so they can play for B10 title.

Saves my boys another embarrassment this year... now, what to do about Harbaugh? Rumor is a 3-year extension is on the table with lower salary, but incentive bonuses and an open checkbook for assistants.

ND, NCSU, and Clemson are not playing this week. 
I think NCSU would play at OSU if the price is right.
Harbaugh will probably try to get a NFL job. Jets job is certain to be open.
Ohio now has an open date on Sat after Kent St. can't play so maybe OSU-Ohio play on Sat.

Ohio St./Michigan scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled. That means, unless Ohio St. can find a Big 10 opponent, they're ineligible to play in the conference championship game. Teams must have played 6 conference games to qualify. If the league, which is meeting tomorrow, can’t move other games around (Purdue might have to cancel this weekend too), Indiana will play Northwestern in the most inconsequential Big 10 championship game in history. Does anyone think that 5-0 Ohio State will be left out of the BCS?

remember in the old college FB system they had non conference champs playing in the champ game.
That still happens ... or at least could happen. If Clemson beats ND in the ACC Championship game, ND is still pretty likely to end up in the playoff, in which case it could happen in a couple of weeks.
