Love them both. Trophy Wife is a favorite but I’m an IPA guy. I have a couple cans of Cloud Surfer in my fridge at the moment.

Trophy Wife is one of those 'session IPAs', which is an idiotic oxymoron. Session beers are low gravity (equals low alcohol to non-brewers) so you can sit and drink for a good while without falling off the barstool. IPAs are high gravity and highly hopped so they would not spoil when shipped from England to India. Hops are mildly antiseptic, for those of you who may not have known that.
And I like IPAs also. Foothills Jade and Hoppium, AMB Long Leaf are some of my NC favorites.
Also not into this clowdy beer thing. Brewers spend hundreds of years trying to make clear beer, and some millennial dingus has to come along and dingus it all up.
 
Texas is allowing all businesses to open 100% next week. No more mask mandate too. Really bad idea. Canes have 2 more games at Dallas in April.

I like Hoppyum and Long Leaf too, as well as White St. Hoptimist, Lonerider Hppy Ki Yay, R&D Seven Saturdays and Lynwood Hop On Top. And I look at the lower alcohol of session IPAs as a feature, not a bug, as long as the taste isn’t compromised.
 
I am shocked - shocked, I tell you - to learn that there are beer snobs on a hockey board.

Smithwick's for me. Negra Modelo with Mexican food. Yingling if there's nothing else. I'm just not adventurous with beer.
 
I mostly buy Yuengling but that's mostly due to me cooking with beer more so then drinking the substance.
I drink like 2 a year... Liquor on the other hand.... Or wine..
 
I've done some brewing plus being anal about things is a professional hazard (or requirement?) so terms like 'session IPA' make me bitch. Dammit!

I like Smithwick’s too. Not a fan of Yuengling. I haven’t had a Negra Modelo in a while but my brother had stocked our father’s refrigerator with Modelo Especial and Stella.

Wine? I have plenty of that, I’m probably back to close to 300 bottles.

I'm a fan of Coffee with Scotch added no whipped cream really nice after a good dinner.

When I turned 18 in 1978, we started the summer drinking Molson Golden for about $2.35 a 6 pack. We stepped down to Miller’s version of Loewenbrau at about $1.80 a 6 pack. But the end of the summer we were drinking Beer. Generic beer in a pony bottle, with a label that came off easily when wet, brewed in a grubby brewery in Wilkes-Barre, PA. It was only sold at A&P supermarkets and was $0.99 a 6 pack. There was a bar we hung out at that sold Genesee Cream Ale for $0.40 a mug.

In my college days in Canada, we had a couple of competing bars that always had wing night a couple nights a week, ten cent wings and a $4 large pitcher of draft beer...there was nothing quite like 50 wings and a pitcher of cold beer for under $10!!!

Agreed. They've done some special runs that I've liked ... they made one for Hopscotch a few years ago that was good ... but when it comes to the pizza, those guys are all over it.
