In all seriousness I’m glad that we are all still kicking ass after these treatments and surgeries. I’m back doing chemo and will also likely need another surgery. They better come hard at me to get rid of my ignorant ass 🤣

one day I’ll post the photo of me with the Prince of Wales trophy from 2002. Players didn’t want nothing to do with it in the locker room, but screw that I thought it was cool and got my photo. They also Number and keep up with all the pucks from the Stanley cup. They don’t throw them out all over the arena like the regular season, so it’s pretty rare to get one. Especially now that they have nets up and pucks in the crowd have dropped significantly.

Part of my responsibilities on game nights on top of running the visitors locker room, I also took care of the referee’s. As much shit as I give them, they are all good guys. Anyway, Don Koharski knew I wanted a puck so when Larionov walked it off in the 3rd OT (I think). He pocketed the puck and gave it to me. We need the canes to go back. The year they won the cup I was in Iraq and had to get up at 2am - 3am to watch the games. My brother was there with me so at least I had one caniac to celebrate with at breakfast in the DFAC

Donut Don Koharski. Before my daughter’s coach moved to the US, he was a coach and referee in Ontario. He rolled in for his game assignment for beer league game and there is Koharski. Playing. He said it was an interesting night, Koharski 2nd guessed every call and almost got bounced.

Yup ... seems more scattered this time but some connecting sites are still down. It doesn't seem to be generating the same panic level as the last outage for some reason. Maybe it's impacting less of the commercial and entertainment segments.
 
The ol' prostate got removed on Thursday and I got back home yesterday afternoon. The suture sites are still quite painful and I have to pee in a bag for the next week and a half, but hey, I'm now (as far as this is concerned) cancer-free.

KTown and Fayettenamcanesfan, you both have all of my thoughts and well-wishes in your battles.

There was some night game at Carter-Finley juju going on last night. I was there and it got VERY weird. Also, anyone who had State winning a defensive battle after watching them the last two weeks is probably a lonely dude. Or a loon.
