I think a lot of it can be attributed to the big cap increase. More space = more movement.

Too bad the UFA crop is so dead boring this year or there'd be some serious fireworks.

But what is STL doing? I guess they could keep Thomas and trade off Buchnevich and Parayko.

They seem to be trying to build a 24-26 core group which Thomas could still be part of, while dealing away those two geezers for probably more than they're worth. In fact, if I were them, this is exactly what I'd be doing because they're nowhere and those two aren't helping them get anywhere.

Parayko is old and Kyrou lost alot of ice last year to Snuggerud and Buchnevich.

I suspect this is a retool around them and Thomas.
