GDT - Leafs @ Devils | Beginning of the end 7:30PM EST SNET

It could be. However, it could just be the mental drain of this team wearing him down as well. Not a normal circumstance ... at least for most teams. My bigger concern is his ability to stay focused.

i think the problem might be more that he cheats a bit to compensate for his size than him being lazy.

kinda like belfour, who would often get caught short side because he liked to cheat if he thought the puck was going to go cross-crease.

take that shattenkirk goal as an example.. he was trying to cover the top corners, shattenkirk flubbed the backhander a bit and it snuck under his arm.

even though he had a rough first few games corsi-wise i still think holzer is a player.

i think he's an nhl'er and serviceable 6/7 guy.

puck skills aren't there and his skating gives him some problems against speed.

but, ya, millen is right.. that icing was bad. the forwards weren't moving in the neutral zone, but the d-man (Was it rielly?) just fired that puck out with, really, no pressure.

why there was no timeout?
