Cole doesn't look injured....his skating is as good as regular season, and so is his shot....he's just not winning those board battles that we usually won during regular season.

Why blame Suzuki ? He's trying....but Suzy can't do it all himself.....just like Demi can't do it all himself.

That trade deadline move that didn't pan out must have been for a big winger....HuGo knew that top 2 lines needed help

No kidding it’s not what Marty wants. It’s on Marty to get through to the players though. RBA did. His team is in proper position 90% of the time to our 50%.

When you play different teams game to game it’s different. In a seven game series the same team pounds the same players over and over. See: Hutson.

Cole is next to invisible. I question his resolve in the playoffs.

I agree.....you can't be a 50-goal regular season scorer, and all of a sudden disappear (no matter how much the opposing teams single you out). You gotta find a way to break free from the coverage....it's your job.....but he seems content to wait for pucks to slide on his stick for easy goals

RBA had to go through the pains before getting the right group . What you are seeing is the short comings of our line up to make a true run at the cup. That is the bright side of this run. We need heavier bodies that can skate throughout the line up. Slafs will get there and help carry line 1, but lines 2 to 4 need tweaking.

Canes have small bodies too. Stankoven goes into the dirty areas far more than Caufield. In that aspect, yes, it’s on the player.
 
Carolina played like the Habs in game 1 and we lit them up. They stopped playing like that, we didn’t.
 
The whole first line hasn't been good all playoffs besides the PP, and now they even suck on the PP.

Both Suzuki, Caufield and Slaf have been shells of themselves.
