I love me some Kim but I'm mostly excited for SHG TOMORROW BABY!!!!!!

In all seriousness there better not be any horror show surprises in their earnings after hours. I'm assuming it'll be pretty straight forward. Barely profitable with a lack of organic revenue growth but nice proforma numbers from their recent acquisitions. And a nice cash position. Guidance will be crucial. The sector typically struggles in the 4th and 1st quarters. Can they maintain profitability next quarter as well?

I might be wrong, but while earnings will be released tomorrow, their conference cal will be held later in the week. Hate that.

ok. I can handle that. It will probably take RBC all week to change the symbol so I’ll probably won’t be able to trade it anyway — part of the reason I trimmed 10% on Friday
 
A red premarket once again saved by vaccine news that was already relatively known. Nice additional data from moderna though and good to hear they're roughly on the same timeline as Pfizer. Inject me baby. Let's go.
 
I'll be looking at SHOP for clues -- they recorded a massive 75% year to year in Black Friday sales. Stock is up only 1% so maybe rally has already priced in what a great year this has been for tech...we'll see.

Questrade too but I'm skeptical; probably had to do with people being unable to put in sell orders.. Until now at least. My shares now show in my account woohoo!

EDIT: Yup, down to 70c now.

I still want to buy Tinley but I think their earnings are due today? And not a peep yet. And we know they won't be good (they're a speculative play in fairness). So I should probably wait or just not bother at all. If CXXI isn't within in my risk tolerance neither is Tinley.

Yeah it gives a decent idea sometimes but you or I could skew the data if we wanted to. That alone tells me it's a farce. 9:29am is the only time it has any decent predictive value.

Toddo is doing a twitter poll asking folks to pick their biggest gainers in 2021...someone mentioned TNY and Toddo seemed to like that pick.

I would put VFF in a different category ---- not much risk in that company at $6 US. CXXI more of gamble.

Timed the TEMPORARY top to perfection for once! I'm still expecting another blast today with earnings after hours.

And honestly, despite selling some I'm still not all that light in the name. It's well beyond a free position at this point though. Well fucking beyond. So let's go baby.
