Leafs/Habs/Sens 2014-15

So you never dish out pot shots?

This whining about a "mod" replying to a pot shot with another pot shot is really quite pathetic.
I just expect more.

If you are going to "moderate" then I would hope you would be able to see through obvious attempts to get unders your skin.

I also hope and expect you can one day actually have an actual debate. One day.

He just said we owned you. And we did. And currently do.

But thanks for the reminder. Can't imagine you guys being able to play without Prust and Eller!
I love how you ignored Price and Emelin

You don't own shit. Two of the losses were with Shitkarski in nets.

However believe what you want.

We beat up on your trump card and only elite player on your roster with regularity. I know it burns to have us own you, but don't worry the odds of facing us are really small.

I'll moderate how I see fit.

What's there to debate? Habs are looking to wrap up their second division title in 3 years.... and I'm hoping they can win more than the 2 rounds thy won last year.

Sens are on a great run and could potentially avoid missing the playoffs for the second consecutive year.

The Sens beat the Habs in the playoffs 2 years ago.

Not sure what there is to debate there.

Poorly to non-existent.

I come here to discuss more than just standings. I feel like you can get all the hockey discussion you would need on NHL.com.

You have no interest in analyzing games, from what I can tell.

Cool.

Not sure what there is to debate there.
Reasons for the Sens run? chance of sustainability? development of players? You know...hockey stuff.

It's amusing how much you want it to burn... but it means nothing. Well, no more than any other regular season losses. Like the losses we had to Edm, SJ, LA, Buff, Arizona ect.

If we don't win 4 rounds in the playoffs, it will burn... no matter who we lose to. If it was to the Sens it would burn no more or no less than any other team.

If you are going to try and argue that Phil Kessel is as impactful as Erik Karlsson then this conversation is over.

Where did I say this? Karlsson is the better of the two, but to argue that Karlsson has been on another planet this season compared to 12-13 Kessel is just wrong.

Let's also not do this, please.

Mark Stone has equalled JVR's career high in his first NHL season. All while being younger, better defensively and not on a line with Phil Kessel.

So...wait a second. I can't compare Kessel to Karlsson without the 10 pounds of sand in your vagina getting agitated, but playing on a line with Kessel outweighs spending a lot of 5 on 5 & PP time with Karlsson?

At least do me the favour of not speaking out of both sides of your mouth.

Uhh? What?

You did it right here...

You have Karlsson as a 24 yr old star, carrying the load, we had a 25 yr old Kessel scoring at a 89 point pace.
What other purpose would you have than to compare the impact of these two players on their respective teams???

Chris Johnston
One of these teams will miss the playoffs. Two games left: NYI (98 points) DET (97 points) PIT (96 points) BOS (95 points) OTT (95 points)

Poorly to non-existent.
You have absolutely no idea what I do here.

I come here to discuss more than just standings.
And I have to satisfy your desire?

You have no interest in analyzing games, from what I can tell.
I "analyze" the Habs on the Habs board... and believe it or not I have plenty of criticism for them.

Reasons for the Sens run? chance of sustainability? development of players? You know...hockey stuff.
I've been reading you and Mindz each massage the numbers to fit your opinions. I could try to cherry pick some numbers to take away from what the Sens have been doing... but why would I? I haven't been taking anything away from the run.

I feel like you can get all the hockey discussion you would need on NHL.com.
Well you can try to analyze sustainability and predict the future using advanced stats all you like but the bottom line is... that's all it is... a prediction based on my/your choice of what we feel are pertinent stats.

Pure comedy gold.

Not yet, but I'm sure it's about to be

Philips in the line up.

Dude was playing 21 mpg before the injury.

Lazar goes missing

Oh the horrors. I mean, he has double digit points after all. He plays 12 minutes a game...where exactly was I supposed to put him when I only mentioned the top 9?

Zbad/Turris compared to Bozak/Kadri

Neither Zbad or Turris have had a season as good as Kadri's 12/13....so I'm not sure what your point is.

Hoffman and his 27 goals ignored.

Errr...I posted him on your 2nd line, numb nuts.

Too freaking funny

It's like dealing with someone who was already a moron, but has recently suffered a ****ing head injury.

Crazy how the Isles, Pens and Wings are all pretty much face-planting on the finish line. The Sens should thank their lucky stars.

If I had to rank them from most likely to miss the playoffs to least likely, I think I'd go with...

1) Ottawa
2) Pittsburgh
3) NY Islanders
4) Detroit
5) Boston

Uhh? What?

You did it right here...

....what?

What other purpose would you have than to compare the impact of these two players on their respective teams???

and I've since clarified that wasn't my intention. Again, you seem to be having difficulties with the word "similar".

Let me help:

sim·i·lar
ˈsim(ə)lər/
adjective
1.
resembling without being identical.

**** me, it must be something in the water out there. The both of you are half ****ing ridiculous.

Yea, why bother including the (just turned) 20 year old first round pick.

I mean hell, the guy only plays 12 minutes a game in his first pro season.

....what?

They aren't similar either.
