Is it possible Robertson's ready as soon as next season? Friedman speculated he could be an emergency call up this season even.
If Engval can hack it as an NHL center.. That's kind of a perfect 3c. Might already be better than Kerfoot AND he'll be cheaper. Not convinced on Moore as a 3w but worst case they can keep AJ... Might have to unless Hyman decides to take a sweetheart deal on his next contract. He grew up rich as fuck so who knows, maybe he's generous. If not, I'd have a hard time justifying what he'll get as great as he is.Sure is.
Amazingly, we could be in position to trade 2 or even all 3 of kappy AJ and kerfoot.
Hyman - Matthews - Marner
Mikheyev - Tavares - Nylander
Moore - Engvall - Robertson
Timashov - Gauthier - Petan
Sure is.

I think hyman might be just better than them.
Nah. His goals are literally all pure luck and empty nets. We can leave the grinding along the boards to others for league minimum.
And I’m saying this as a fan of Hyman and what he brings to the table. I think we have better versions of him now.
If he costs 3.5 or 4m that's probably better value than all of Kap, Kerf and AJ. I worry he costs more, because I think he gets it on the open market.So we’ll pay him $3.5, $4m? He needs to stay at the $2m level, but he’s not going to want that. Both sides will have outgrown each other by the end of his contract.
I'm not like a Hyman fanatic or anything but he literally had a beauty top shelf goal on the back hand two days ago so probably bad timing for this one.
Not only that. JT-Mucho weren't looking too hot until he returned.I dunno. Hyman has literally been part of one of the elite lines in hockey every year of his career, even with different linemates.

Before and after Hyman’s return ...
JT:
xGF%: 48.43 --> 53.54
p60: 0.72 --> 2.1
Marner:
xGF%: 48.14 --> 58.96
p60: 1.05 --> 4.76
Aside: Marner's big production numbers this season are due to a 9-game uberhot streak.
