Well that article isn't different but he thinks Rielly is their worst d. Like worse than Dermott, Holl, etc. He takes extreme positions like zeke, except he's mostly way off. Zeke is usually mostly right, he just takes it too far sometimes.
 
I went back and read the discussion and zeke is right that he did put all kind of caveats around using puckiq's numbers. My bad for not acknowledging this (I skimmed the words on first read and focused on his numbers) and suggesting otherwise.

That said, we're at the exact same spot. zeke posted numbers from puckiq that he says demonstrate a big impact. You can't have it both ways -- complain about the data when someone finds something you don't like and trumpet it when you think it makes your case. We either use the available data or admit that it's so flawed (I don't think so) that you should park all firm statements about usage and qoc.
 
Just did a medium dive, on the potential prospects that may be there at 15, and there are a handful that would be top 10 picks in most drafts. The Leafs should do well. Assuming that Lafreniere, Byfield, Stutzle, Rossi, Holtz, Raymond, Sanderson, Drysdale and Askarov are all gone:

1. Seth Jarvis - scored 1.69 ppg in the WHL as a 17 year old, which is almost unprecedented. Its better than RNH, Kane, Patrick Glass, Barzal. The only 17 year old to outscore him in the last 20 years is Petan. But he is bigger than Petan and a good skater.
2. Jack Quinn - He only scored 1.44 ppg as an 18 year old in the OHL, which is good but not great. But he scored 52 goals in 62 games. He is in the top 10 in u19 goals/game over the last 20 years. He's another fast winger, that stretches the ice, and has a reputation for working hard. You could have two lines with two elite playmakers, and four high end goal scorers with Robertson-Matthews-Marner/Quinn-Tavares-Nylander.
3. Connor Zary - Scored 1.51 ppg in the W as an 18 year old, which is on par with guys like Stone, Johansen, Point, and just behind Cozens this year. Another winger, but more of a playmaker than a goalscorer.
4. Lukas Reichel - scored 0.57 ppg in the German league, which is not as good as Stutzie but is otherwise unprecedented. High end skating and hockey sense. Against his own age at the WJC this year he scored as much as Holtz and Raymond.
5. Maverick Bourque - scored 1.45 ppg as a 17 year old in the Q, which is comparable to guys like Beauvillier, Couturier, Voracek, Giroux and Hischier. He is a high hockey IQ center.
6. Tyson Foerster - scored 1.29 ppg as a 17 year old in the O. Not elite production but comparable to guys like Domi, Monahan, Kadri. Another high skill center.
7. Hendrix Lapierre - missed most of the season due to concussions, but was the #1 pick in the Q a couple years ago and a ppg player at 16. Has elite skill if he is ever healthy.
8. Ryan O'Rourke - just seems like a trade down- Dubas pick. High skilled, high IQ, offensive dman, that played for the Soo and everyone has ranked as an early 2nd.

On top of that there are guys like Holloway and Lundell who are in that top 15 mix, but don't have high end production, so the Leafs should have a choice of a handful of these guys at 15 who based solely on production, look like typical top 10 picks.
