Les Habitants Prospects Thread

Maybe he’ll prove me wrong, I like the kid’s personality but I just don’t see any elite in his game.
There wasn't a lot of elite in this draft, that was the same knock of Wright.

He has a good shot, good vision, good hands, he's massive and will only get bigger and has good speed for his size. Once his reaction speed catch up to the play and he starts using his body to gain some time and space, I think he can be a dominant force down low in the Ozone, and probably good for around 30 goals and 70 points.

We (the organization and fans) just to be patient with him. I know, that’s a lot to ask of us.

If we luck out and get Dubois or Fantilli the fans will forget all about Slafkovsky and he'll be able to develop without the weight of fan expectations. He'll be like the whipped cream on the sundae. He can develop into a 60+ point player and be a Shutt to Bedard's or Fantilli's Lafleur.

Ok I'm saying I'm giving up 4 years, not to reach his potential, but to display the progress expected for him to reach his potential, and to start being effective.

4? I’m thinking by next year with some. It took Flower 3-4 seasons to start to thrive (and he was 20 when he was drafted). And Slaf ain’t him.
He was drafted after his 18 year old season. But a old player for the draft class with a September bday. Was 5th of the team in scoring in his rookie year.

But of course NHL is very much a young man's game now.

Or melt to shit under the bright lights then your kid has sticky fingers and face and rubs that every where. I mean why? Why do you hate kids?

Expect a nice bump up this in production and ice time , he was overwhelmed last year

He was starting to get it before he was injured. MSL was being ultra careful with him, he should have had a bit more PP time than he did.
