OT: CFL Thread

Als destroy the Argos 41-10.

I'll waiting for rouah to explain to me how the FG kicked mad 75-80% of tonight's points...

Tsn had this set up that toronto was a big powerhouse. They got sent back to reality very quickly. Rolled by the machine.

Well, they played Toronto... what did you expect from their defense? If the Als were playing the Buffalo Bills, they would get destroyed by 50 points.

I've tried watching the whole game, last night, but I can't. The level is way too low and the players need to make dances after TD's to make the game interresting.

Then don't?

I mean, golf is as shitty a sport there is to watch, but I wouldn't feel the need to complain about it if a thread popped up about it.

To each his own.

Like I said, a great friend of mine is playing for the Als, so I'll be watching the games. But its like someone who has to go dancing because his wife wants so...

Then you were not truly watching the game...Cobourne's performance (200 + yards) was not low level and Cavillo's 30-36 for 394 yards was not low level either.

It looks impressive if you don't mention they played the Argos... lets them play against the Pats or the Steelers and Cobourne might have 20 yds and Calvillo will have the lowest QB ratings in NFL history...

That's like saying you can't watch the Bulldogs play because their level is too low. The CFL is to the NFL what the AHL is to the NHL. You know it's not the same calibre, but you watch it because you enjoy the sport.

I'm not even sure why you're even arguing this point. Nobody at any point has said otherwise.

Everyone knows the NFL has the best players in the world, nobody's arguing that...

However, make an average NFL team play on a CFL field with CFL rules against the Als, and it'll be a lot closer than you might think. The NFL team would end up winning, but Montreal would give them a real run for their money.

I think arguing this point to him is like yelling at your computer screen and expecting it to yell back.

Although the AHL is no where near as exciting as the CFL. There is a reason why the CFL TV ratings are almost as big as the NHL in Canada.

there is also a reason why the CFL keeps on ticking while NFL europe amd every other pro football league goes down
