OT: CFL Thread

I bet the Quebecois would rally around a decent NHL team in Montreal.

? Hopefully the Canadiens will remain decent for the rest of the season. :lol

I guess you meant NFL. Well, an NFL franchise is worth over one billion dollars...way way too expensive for a poor province like Quebec that doesn't have a decent stadium for the NFL. And I think even too expensive for Toronto.

Montreal will repeat. They coasted at the end of the year and practically everybody important is healthy. Poor Proulx, though.

It will be -150 in Edmonotone. That will play for sure.

Hopefully the Riders can count this year.

They showed in the first game of the season that they couldn't so why would it be different on the last game of the season?

I'm thinking the Als won't repeat the mistake of having a slow ass start like last year. If the Als can avoid the dreaded slow start, they will bag this one.

Als were supposed to walk all over the Riders last year.

Weather is supposed to be -5 high and -9 low for Sunday... of course that can change.

Riders just beat the best team in the league....and the Als are chokers.
:p

So glad the game will have meaning... bought the tickets a year ago...so Im pretty pumped for this "home" game. Atmosphere was awesome last year in Calgary.

Great, you'll have nice tickets to see the Als win it a second time in a row. I envy you.

Wow did the Riders ever have luck on their side yesterday.

Gut wrenching fumble call over turned on that long review for my good buddy Justin Phillips. A Canadian LB/ D lineman finally getting some big minutes on D this year.

Browner had two terrible calls on him and any bounce there was seemed to go way of the green.

Should be an exciting Grey Cup again!

He all know Burris would have ruined the game regardless.
I think Cates was down...though im biased. It was really close.

That one call on Browner was easy...don't remember the 2nd. I had to listen to the first half on the radio (I was driving back from Stoon).

The biggest break was that fumbled punt. I was losing my marbles on that play.

I was in the freaking endzone last year as I see the flag from too many men a few feet in front of me.

As I refer to it...the Meltdown at McMahan.

Oh I think Cates was probably down, I'm not so much disputing that he was down as to how big of a play it was an inch away from being for the stamps and #44.

Fair enough. It was huge.

Still wonder how the Riders missed the point after. Haha.

Sucks not having Bagg and Congi.

Just walked through Huddle Town. Pretty cool. Im going to see Bif Naked at 4. Haha. Fozzy (with Chris Jericho) is tomorrow....lol.

Of course Riders will win by 2 TDs on Sunday.

I have seen 1 Al fan so far.
