I didn't realize this thread would turn into a Glenn Greenwald anti-capitalism circle jerk. Honest mistake!

It's a company that laid off employees as every company on the planet does from time to time. Worst thread idea ever. Yet it worked. My mistake.

surprised no one lodged an official objection to MNIJ failing to correctly label the thread "OT". in my view, that is the biggest sin we are currently dealing with.

b) they got rid of high paid talent to keep others?
c) growing radio revenue? (i assume they treat this like rogers and the jays - cellphone and sports team ownership)

where were the tears for Doug MacLean?

You know what? I like that we have a thread dedicated to one of Canada's few tremendously successful corporations. We should be proud of them. Show some patriotism folks.

honestly if they hadn't received the wage subsidy I'm not sure I would care much. and really, that's probably more an issue I have with JT and the Libs than Bell itself. I expect Bell to do evil things, always.
