This is a huge blow to HIV/Aids research, the only silver lining is that HIV/Aids research has become a pretty big area of medical research. So while this will definitely hurt, it probably won't cripple HIV research or set it back a ridiculous amount of time.

Russia caught red handed taking out the very missile systems needed to shoot down a plane at that altitude.
